Green leylandii are the best option for the cheapest, bushiest, fastest growing hedge. They are marginally faster growing than the Castlewellan Gold Leylandii. They can be maintained as a superb dense formal hedge/screen if regular trimming is carried out from the start and provide a dense network of branches for nesting birds out of reach of cats.
