Description

Makes a dense evergreen hedge. Cherry laurels are superb vigorous hedging shrubs with handsome glossy dark green leaves. They have small white flowers followed by cherry-like red fruits turning black. Will grow in full sun or partial shade, sheltered or exposed positions. Grow well in any soil type, chalk, loam, sand or clay. Prune in late Spring or early Summer. Planting distance: 3 to 5 per metre.
