Griselinia also known as New Zealand Privet is a dense, attractive, evergreen shrub with glossy, apple green, leathery leaves. It is an excellent hedging plant for seaside exposure as well as inland positions. Responds well to trimming, quickly establishing as a mature hedge.

Griselinia hedges are tolerant of being clipped into formal hedges and trimming is usually carried out in Spring and early Summer. Enjoys a sunny well drained position (ie. any soil that is not water-logged), it does not need any special soil. An excellent choice for an attractive, low maintenance evergreen hedge.
